More news from L'Espace Camac - the Atlantic Harp Duo will be giving a benefit concert for victims of the recents floods in Thailand. One half of the duo, Elizabeth Jaxon, is Principal Harp with the Thailand Philharmonic and Professor at Mahidol University's College of Music, so this is a cause close to the duo's heart.
The benefit concert will be on November 20th, for an hour starting at 6PM. Here is the programme - lots of Spanish music, in keeping with Elizabeth and Marta's recent focus on this repertoire.
Lecuona - "Malaguena"
Granados - "Danse orientale"
DeFalla - "La Vida Breve"
De Falla - "Piezas espanolas"
Ravel - "Alborada del gracioso"
Bach - "Prelude et fugue en Do, CBT vol II"
Chopin - "Prélude op28 no 15"
Andrès - "Jardin des paons"
Lizotte - "Raga"
