Alice Giles, as Harpblog has previously reported, has carried out an amazing project in Antarctica - see her "Alice in Antarctica" blog to find out more!
Part of Alice's project included commissioning and premiering music inspired by Antarctica. Now you have a chance to hear this music via a webcast. Alice will give a concert as part of the Antarctica Festival held by the Australian National University School of Music, which will also be streamed live on the internet - find the link to the webcast here. It is a repeat of the concert Alice played at Mawson Station earlier this year, with the addition of visuals, some footage of the outdoor pieces/sounds, and Tegan Peemoeller as guest soprano.
You can listen live on June 26th at 5PM, and the link will stay active for some days afterwards.
