Here's another great example of a harpist pursuing a really original musical path. Lena Woods is both a harpist (a student of Myriam Serfass) and a rock singer. As well as her own songwriting, Lena also does covers of e.g. The Cure, Alter Bridge, Janis Joplin, Metallica, Pearl Jam, NIN.
